The Solemn Opening Session of the Vlaams Pleitgenootschap will take place at 2.00 p.m. in the ceremonial courtroom of the Court of Cassation at the Brussels Palace of Justice. This year’s opening speaker is Mr Matthias Vandamme, who will address us on the highly topical theme of AI and the legal profession.
Following the response of the President, Mr Nicolas Vermeulen, the head of the Bar, Anneleen Van Hout, will share her reflections. In keeping with tradition, the NOAB will also present a number of awards to individuals and organisations who have particularly distinguished themselves over the past judicial year.
The Solemn Opening Session is expected to conclude at around 3.30 p.m.
